Dr. Diana Griffiths completed her medical degree at The University of Stellenbosch. Prior to this she studied a Bachelor of Arts degree at Rhodes and was a professional ballet dancer for Cape Town City Ballet! Her impetus for holistic healing transpired during her Honours degree at UCT, where she graduated Cum Laude. Her innovative and curious spirit led her to develop groundbreaking work in the dance world by teaching ballet to disabled people. It was during this time she developed a fascination and love for medicine, in particular Integrative Medicine. She is a firm believer in the healing power of art and movement as a treatment modality for those suffering from chronic illnesses. A kind and caring soul, she is passionate about Paediatrics, having done her community service at the Rahima Moosa Mother and Child hospital. Here she showed a particular affinity for the Empilweni Clinic, treating children living with HIV and working closely with phenomenal Specialists in the field. In her spare time, she enjoys being a triathlete, playing the piano, writing, yoga, travelling, snorkeling and even sky diving! She values meaningful relationships and has a gentle manner in her approach to patients. Someone you’ll feel comfortable and at ease with when entering her consultation room.
Dr Meghan O’Brien received her medical degree in 2012 from the University of Cape Town and holds an additional Bachelor's degree from the University of California. She has a special interest in paediatrics, women’s health and ear, nose and throat pathology. Dr O’Brien loves animals and enjoys spending time with her family.
Dr Christa de Wit obtained her MBChB, cum laude in 1998 from the University of Stellenbosch and holds a honours degree in pharmacology. She completed an advanced course in botox and dermal fillers in 2017. Dr de Wit enjoys performing in-room surgical procedures including excision of pigmented skin lesions and epidermal cysts.
Dr de Klerk (MBBCh) graduated from Wits University in 1993, after which he worked in the UK for 5 years in Psychiatry, Casualty and Oncology hospital departments. He has a keen interest in the emotional wellbeing of people as this is often overlooked and undertreated, and is well versed in treating depression and anxiety disorders.
Tennis, road running and mountain biking are his after-hour interests and he likes guitaring and singing.
Dr Daniel Scheffler (MBChB) graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1994. He has extensive international experience and has worked in Namibia, Kenya, Indonesia, Thailand and the UK. He holds a certificate in Diving and Submarine Medicine and is a Diving Medical Examiner for sport and commercial divers. Dr Scheffler enjoys surfing and mountain climbing with his family during his free time.
Dr Neil Richards (MBChB) received his medical degree in 1993, he also received a diploma in emergency care and obstetrics. Dr Richards has a special interest in family medicine and enjoys sports and travelling in his free time. Dr Richards also has a fellowship in family medicine.
