Dr Saville Furman

General medical practitioner

Dr Saville Furman (MBChB FCFP(SA)) graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1973. He was awarded the Boz Fehler Fellowship in 1991 for furthering Continuing Medical Education of General Practitioners in South Africa. Previously Dr Furman was a lecturer at UCT and his current involvement in the community includes giving talks to colleagues at hospitals, schools and senior citizens.

Dr George Sebastiaan Wolfaardt (M.B., Ch. B.M.Fam. Med) (Cum Laude), graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1984. He summited Mt. Kilimanjaro (Uhura Peak 1997) and in 2016 completed 21 consecutive Argus Cape Town Cycle Tours. Dr Wolfaardt enjoys the outdoor life including camping, swimming, golf, cycling and hiking in his leisure time.

He received Certification in Travel Medicine from The University of the Witwatersrand in 2008 and is an Accredited Travel Medicine Provider. Dr Merchant also has Certification in Aesthetics Medicine. He spends his free time enjoying nature and reading.

In addition, he has experience in trauma medicine, intensive care, and occupational health care. He enjoys family practice for all age groups.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family and playing golf.

She worked at the Stellenbosch government hospital until 2009, when she earned her Family Medicine degree from Stellenbosch University. Dr Niland enjoys practising holistic medicine and is passionate about pain control and treating children, young adults and women. She loves camping, walking, Pilates and spending time with her husband and two children.
