Dr Marius Theunissen (MBChB, DFM) graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1996. He practised in the United Kingdom as a general practitioner for ten years. He is particularly interested in dermatology and was trained in the UK to perform dermoscopy screenings for skin cancer. He completed a Diploma in Family Medicine in 2011 and has a Certificate in Palliative Care from the University of Stellenbosch. Dr Theunissen has a holistic approach to family medicine and enjoys educating patients about healthy living. He enjoys cooking, painting, gardening, and building models in his free time.

Dr Wilmari Giliomee qualified (MBChB) from the University of Stellenbosch. In addition, she obtained degrees in BSc Human Life Science and Psychology. She is passionate about working with people and devotes herself to helping others. Dr Giliomee is particularly interested in women’s health and paediatrics. She lives by the motto: “Love your family, work hard, never give up and live your passion”. She cherishes quality time with her family and enjoys being outdoors, active, and exploring new places.

Dr Marilize de Witt grew up in Kareedouw in the Eastern Cape and graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 2003. In 2005 Dr de Witt and her husband, Dr Johannes Lourens, relocated to the Netherlands, where they started a private practice in Groningen. Besides the clinical side of dentistry, Dr de Witt also managed the practice. In 2016, the family moved back to South Africa and settled into a private dental practice in Somerset West before furthering their journey in dentistry at Intercare Waterstone. As a devoted mom to their three children, Dr de Witt understands the concerns and anxieties of parents bringing their children to the dentist. Dr de Witt enjoys all aspects of general dental practice but is particularly interested in paediatric dentistry. Building a trusting relationship with her patients is most rewarding for her.

Dr Rikus Keyser graduated from the University of Free State in 1995. He completed his internship & practised in the UK for two years before returning to work at a large mining hospital in Gauteng. He has a special interest in metabolic syndrome, nutritional health, and a holistic approach to patients' general well-being. In 2003, he relocated to the Western Cape and worked part-time at various practices and clinics. He enjoys exercising, cooking, and quality time with friends and family in his spare time.

Yolanda Pheiffer

Yolanda graduated with expanded functions from the University of Witwatersrand in 2007 and became a part of the Intercare group in 2009. Her passion is to create healthy and bright smiles for her patients that they can be proud of. Yolanda's primary goal is to help her patients maintain good oral health and prevent dental problems. As a mother, she also enjoys working with children. During her free time, Yolanda likes to spend time with her family, go camping, and take long road trips.

Dr Simone Swanepoel graduated from the University of Pretoria (MBChB in 2016) obtaining 22 distinctions during her studies. Whilst on a swimming scholarship in the United States she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her degree in Biochemistry BSc(Hons). Dr Simone wants to apply her experience and qualifications obtained in the USA and South Africa to diagnose and treat her patients with acute and chronic conditions. As a former Springbok swimmer, she still enjoys swimming and cross-training in her free time.
