Intercare offers a walk-in service for urgent but not life-threatening medical treatment without an appointment. Although not trauma units, Walk-In Care centres treat injuries or illnesses requiring immediate medical care but are not serious enough to require a visit to the hospital emergency services. It is offered to patients who require urgent medical care but cannot get a timely appointment with their General Practitioner.
