Celiwe Hatana

Oral Hygienist

Celiwe Hatana is a qualified Oral Hygienist with Expanded Functions from UWC. She has a strong foundation in preventive care and patient education and has since showcased her skills in orthodontics and general practices. Celiwe is known for her compassionate and empathetic approach and takes pride in creating a comfortable environment for patients of all ages. She is an active member of the Oral Hygiene Association of South Africa and currently serves as the Eastern Cape Branch Chairperson. When she's not working, she enjoys cosying up at home with a good book or watching K-dramas, and spending time with family.

Dr Solly Nkhumeleni

Orthodontist

Dr Solly Nkhumeleni (BDS, MDS, M Dent Ortho) graduated as a dentist in 1989 and became an orthodontist in 1998. He is also a member of the SA Society of Orthodontists. Dr Nkhumeleni is passionate about creating beautiful smiles by working with his patients to achieve their orthodontic goals.

Dr Deon van Heerden obtained the MBChB degree from the University of Pretoria in 2005 and has spent numerous years in subacute and rehabilitation management. He has a particular interest in family medicine, geriatrics, and insurance medicals. Dr van Heerden excels in basic surgical skills with local anaesthesia in procedure rooms and general anaesthesia in theatres at day clinics. He is a dedicated and well-loved general practitioner for whom the well-being of his patients has always been his priority. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife and three kids.

I enjoy all aspects of general practice. I provide care for patients of all ages, but my passion lies with children. I strive to provide a compassionate and caring service that is focused on your child’s individual healthcare needs. One of the pleasures of being a doctor is getting to know patients and hearing their stories. I do my best to understand each patient as an individual. I also have expertise in aesthetic medicine and enjoy combining the improvement of health with the improvement of appearance. When she isn't caring for our patients she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and afternoon walks with her husband and dog.

Dr Louise Dreyer (MBChB) graduated from the University of the Free State in 2011. She also received cum laude for her medical degree and was awarded the best medical student of her year. Since then she has developed a special interest in paediatrics and the management of diabetes mellitus.

Dr Stephen Horwitz graduated as a dentist from the University of Witwatersrand in 1989. He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, paediatric dentistry, composite resin restorations, implant restorations and endodontics. He likes to practice preventive and minimally invasive dentistry. Dr Horwitz is a keen cyclist (having already completed nineteen 94.7 cycle challenges) and runner.

She has a particular interest in paediatrics. She enjoys reading, birdwatching, cooking, and spending time with her family.
