Celeste Marais

Oral Hygienist

Celeste Marais graduated in 2005 from the University of Pretoria. After two years, she started her career at an orthodontic practice in Klerksdorp and moved to general practice, where she gained interest and extensive knowledge in teeth whitening treatments. Celeste strives to educate her patients in preventative care. In her spare time, she enjoys the bushveld, loves wildlife, and has a passion for dance and music.

Dr Eljoh Lombard graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2011. After completing her internship and community service, she joined Intercare Gonubie as a general practitioner. In 2020 she relocated to Intercare Blaauwberg. As a mother of two busy boys, Dr Lombard is passionate about paediatrics and the medical management of young families. She takes the time to educate patients about their specific conditions and how to manage them, as she believes understanding one's condition is crucial to managing it better. She enjoys being active, baking and quality time with her family.

Dr Francois Slabbert

Dr Francois Slabbert qualified from the Medical University of South Africa. He also completed a Diploma in Primary Emergency Care at the College of Medicine of South Africa. He was part of the medical team on various international cruise ships and later worked at the emergency centres of Mediclinic Cape Gate and Netcare Blaauwberg Hospitals. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family and playing golf.

Dr Francin Booysen

General medical practitioner

Dr Francin Booysen graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2017. She also obtained a diploma in HIV Management in 2021 & a diploma in Internal Medicine. Dr Booysen is passionate about treating acute illnesses and improving the management of chronic medical conditions in patients such as heart and lung disease, diabetes, HIV, and mental health conditions. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she worked as a frontline doctor treating critically ill patients. Dr Booysen enjoys long-distance running and spending time with her family in her free time.

Dr Stern Pretorius graduated from the University of Stellenbosch M.B.Ch.B., PDD. He is passionate about the well-being of patients and has a special interest in men's health and geriatrics. In his spare time, he enjoys horse riding and other outdoor activities.

Dr Lizl Pretorius (BChD) graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1998 where after she obtained her PDD (Clin Dent). Dr Pretorius enjoys working with children and strives to make a difference in each child’s life in practising dentistry. She also has a special interest in aesthetic dentistry. At home, she enjoys working in the garden and listening to music.

Dr Rinkwest graduated in 2018 from Stellenbosch University. He completed his internship at Groote Schuur Hospital and after that did his community service at Paarl Hospital. He is passionate about health and wellness and is committed to providing compassionate and personalised care to his patients. In his free time, he enjoys visiting the beautiful beaches Cape Town offers, watching movies, and playing board games with family and friends.

Dr Johan van Deventer graduated from the University of Pretoria (BChD) in 1983. He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and implant restorations but enjoys all fields of dentistry, emphasising minimal and preventive treatment. Dr van Deventer enjoys good music, sports, and is a keen collector of vintage Volkswagens.

Dr Pieter Snyman

Dr Pieter Snyman graduated (MBChB) from the University of Pretoria in 2001. He worked as a Medical Officer in Orthopaedics at a Military Hospital until 2006. During this time, he also studied Sports Medicine at the University of Pretoria. Since 2006, Dr Snyman has been a general practitioner with special interests in orthopaedics, sports medicine, diabetes, paediatrics, dermatology, men’s health, and geriatrics. He also performs various minor procedures such as the removal of warts and moles, as well as limited ultrasounds. Dr Snyman enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and fly fishing with his wife and three children.

Dr. Christo Slabbert (B.Ch.D) graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1994. He worked in the United Kingdom for 24 years until 2018. Since his return to South Africa he has been working at Intercare Mall@55 and has now joined the Glenfair practice. Dr. Slabbert has a special interest in Endodontics and Cosmetic dentistry but enjoy all fields of dentistry and he is an accredited provider for Active Aligners and MAX Mouthguards.
